 001. Make sure to follow all rules in the app; not following the rules is an automatic non acceptance. The easiest thing to do is just follow the rules.
002. Make sure to post the correct app for your character. One is for canons, and the other is for original characters.
003. Make sure you visit the canon list, the face claim, and/or the name claim before you make your character. We don't want a thousand michael's or mary's. Also you can only use the same face as someone else if you are twins, and that must be ok'd by the other character, and pm'd to the admins.
004.Please no Gary-sues, or Mary-sues. We don't need a thousand extremely talented kids running around, that doesn't happen in Lima, Ohio.
005.Post the app in the correct board when you are finished; if it is in the wrong place, then it will be ignored.
006.Be detailed, but try not to write us a novel and a half - remember we have to read these. If you feel the need to write a lot, go ahead - we don't mind, but don't feel that you need to write a lot. quality>quantity.
007.The interview app is for the members that already have an accepted character. If you fill this app out and you do not have an accepted character, no matter how good the app is, you will not be accepted and you will be asked to read the rules, and redo your app.
